Current Programs About Our Programs - Neighborhood Literacy Drop-In Centers - Goodwill Family Enrichment Center - Youth SES Program - Reading Right Now - Teen Peer Tutoring - After School Youth Tutoring Services - Enterprise Charter School Youth Mentoring - Mommy & Me ESL Storytime Neighborhood Literacy Drop-in-Centers Literacy Drop-In-Centers are neighborhood based locations staffed with trained Literacy Volunteers who provide students with personal instruction designed with their goals and capabilities in mind. The selected sites establish convenient locations and hours so that literacy can be extended into diverse areas throughout the regions of Buffalo and Erie County to serve the populations that need our services the most. Literacy Volunteers of Buffalo and Erie County provides full administrative and organization support to these neighborhood literacy centers, including scheduling of tutors to staff the site, supervision of instruction, coordination of necessary learning and support materials and the advertising of the literacy centers to the people in the community. In fiscal 2004 over 200 students were served at our neighborhood literacy drop in centers.
