Current Programs About Our Programs - Neighborhood Literacy Drop-In Centers - Goodwill Family Enrichment Center - Youth SES Program - Reading Right Now - Teen Peer Tutoring - After School Youth Tutoring Services - Enterprise Charter School Youth Mentoring - Mommy & Me ESL Storytime Teen and Peer Tutoring Youth can participate through LV in a variety of roles, including as volunteers at community centers, churches or other public places; in school with younger children who need reading help, or as assistants for family literacy events. Youth participate in orientation and training developed for their needs. This is an excellent way for young people to build their knowledge and competency, to fulfill community service requirements they may have for school, church or scouting-type organizations; and to build a strong resume or college application. To the extent that funding is available, some paid tutor opportunities may exist.
